Due to the genetically broad mating (heterosis effect), these colonies are very vital, with excellent wintering ability and rapid spring development – the basis for high honey yields. Coupled with gentleness and a low tendency to swarm, these colonies are also fun to work with. However, they should not be used for breeding. After at least three weeks, economic queens are drawn in egg layers with the respective color of the year and sent with a pedigree of the mother.
Random mated F1 queen
The random mated F1-queens are mated at my mating station. They are drawn and mailed with proof of parentage from the mother.
